I am Julie Johnson, a qualified Independent Celebrant based on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds. With a background working in the charity sector, my career has been based on telling and writing stories to inspire people. Becoming a Celebrant stems from my love of people, sharing joy and happiness, building relationships, listening with compassion, so I am able to support you at a difficult time or help you celebrate your joyous occasion.
I am a confident and engaging public speaker, with a natural warmth and enthusiasm, and huge attention to those tiny details that make such a big difference.
About Me
It is so important we get to know each other beforehand, so that together we can create a ceremony that will be totally personal, capture the real you and those “special moments~” that you will remember and talk about forever. The tears of pure joy, the quirky details that reflect who you are. I will listen and take on your ideas and wishes, learn from you, so I can deliver your story in a beautiful, authentic and heartfelt way.
You may have some special requests or things you are not sure about, I will encourage you to ask all the questions you like. If you want a different feel, something relaxed and informal or just unusual or you are embarking on this journey as a more mature couple, then I can support you with empathy and respect - I have been there too!
